Brand guidelines for THX.
Based in Bedfordshire, THX operates nationwide, providing access to a range of premium branded professional construction tools and equipment for hire.
Over the years, the THX business had expanded significantly, leading to different people and departments using the brand in various ways. This inconsistency was beginning to undermine the brand’s credibility and the marketing team at THX approached us to help refocus and reestablish their brand consistency.
Brand guidelines.
The brief to our design team was to ensure the THX brand is instantly recognisable and leaves a lasting impression of credibility wherever it appears. Additionally, the goal was to make the THX branding user-friendly for their staff.
Beyond the logo, THX’s branding encompasses various graphic elements, including watermarks, stripes, stripe positions, images, and montages. Our Design Team collaborated closely with the marketing team at THX to examine each element and optimise every aspect of their branding.
We developed a comprehensive brand guidelines document that provides clear rules and instructions on how to bring the brand identity to life.
Our objective was to infuse a narrative into the THX brand image, making it more meaningful and memorable while fostering familiarity and trust among the target audience. By simultaneously working on several live projects at the same time as developing the brand guidelines, we were able to test elements in real-world scenarios before finalising them. This approach provided valuable insights into what worked well and what required adjustments.
The happy client.
The brand guidelines document has become an essential resource at THX, providing a foundational reference for the development of both internal projects and external marketing materials. Importantly, having thorough instructions on how to use the brand has empowered internal teams to work with the branding more efficiently, enhancing the overall impact and recognition of the THX brand.
